This...Believe it or not, I have a good explanation! This review is pretty old and, once upon a time, I carted over some info from IMDb and just haven't been back here to correct it yet. I've since learned (well probably a decade or so ago!) that I needed to take IMDb info with a grain of salt and ALWAYS double or triple check what they have to say with reputable sources (i.e. ones that didn't also just copy their info). They have this title listed as a Something Weird release and I simply took their word for it when I wrote this. I have since learned the error of my ways, hehe. Thank you for your correction and I will delete that bit from this review.

I still need to see Secret of the Mummy myself. It was also distributed by Something Weird (1994 VHS release: https://www.ebay.com/itm/224313468778) so maybe someone confused it with Scorpion? I believe the director's The Seven Vampires (which I HAVE seen and reviewed here) was also distributed by SW at one time. The Bloody Pit of Horrorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04419921450872885649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5214930440884348127.post-22257349136226276772023-02-26T12:49:09.029-05:002023-02-26T12:49:09.029-05:00Thanks for the article. Only after did I find another print, WITH subtitles, on "Archive.org"... except, that one doesn't look half as good.

Just checked, "Something Weird Video" doesn't have it listed, nor does "Sinister Cinema"-- the latter was the only place I could find another Lucchetti-Cardoso film, SECRET OF THE MUMMY. (It's still there, listed under its English title-- I'd earlier searched under its Portuguese title and it didn't come up, so it was a nice surprise when I ran across it by accident searching their entire catalog.)Henry R.
